About Properly Insure

Rob Belchior is an independent insurance broker affiliated with Broker to Broker Insurance Alliance (general insurance) and HUB Financial (life & health insurance).  Broker to Broker and HUB are both networks of independent insurance brokers.  As part of these groups Rob is planning a successful multi line insurance brokerage.  This success comes from being client focused and working to find the best coverage to suit client needs.  Rob takes the time to look at a variety of options with several insurers before making a recommendation.

About Rob Belchior

Rob Belchior has been in the insurance industry since January 2001 and achieved his goal of becoming an independent broker early in 2007. Rob places a high value on offering independent advice and choice for his clients.

Prior to entering the insurance industry Rob worked in his family’s construction business.

Rob earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (honours) at Brock University. During his time at Brock, Rob was: Vice President of National award winning ACE Brock; President of the Rosalind Blauer Centre for Childcare; a consultant with the Brock Business Consulting Service; a seminar leader for first year management; and an entrepreneur. In the year he graduated Rob was awarded: CIBC’s ACE Canada National Award for Entrepreneurship; the Brock University Faculty of Business award; and the Brock University Entrepreneurship award.

Outside of his professional life, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, travel, playing sports and volunteering in the community.

Business Philosophy

Rob places a high value on being independent so he can provide unbiased advice for his clients. Rob gives clients the coverage they want and informs them of what they should consider. Even though he has embraced technology, Rob still adds the personal touch to his business with face-to-face meetings and visits to clients homes and workplaces wherever possible.

About Broker to Broker

Broker to Broker is the Southern Ontario Master Brokerage for SIAA (Strategic Independent Agents Alliance). Being part of Broker to Broker allows a smaller broker to provide top quality service to their clients. Eventually Rob would like to “brand” his business but his intent is for Broker to Broker to be involved in the background for years to come.

About SIAA (Strategic Independent Agents Alliance)

As mentioned above, Broker to Broker Insurance Alliance Inc. is part of SIAA.

In 1995, at the encouragement of a number of insurance industry executives and consultants, the replication process of the highly successful first Master Agency – Satellite Agency Network Group was initiated, and in 1997, after a pilot program, SIAA was launched. Today, SIAA is the nation’s largest partnering Independent Insurance Agency Network.

About HUB Financial

HUB Financial Inc. is a Managing General Agency ("MGA") for over 3,000 independent life insurance agents and General Agents in Canada. As an MGA, HUB provides efficient access for Independent Life Insurance Agents to Canada's many life insurance companies.

The Process

When you call you can expect:

  • Personal service at your business or home
  • An effort will be made to understand your current situation
  • An evaluation of your current coverage and needs
  • Changes will be recommended if necessary
  • Shop the market to help you obtain quality coverage from a reputable insurer

Expected of the client

  • Full disclosure of everything material to the “risk” being insured.
  • Openness to considering all recommendations.
  • A desire to have a long term relationship with the insurance broker.

Confidentiality

Privacy is very important issue and all clients will receive a copy of the privacy policy. Your information is treated with the utmost confidence.

Communication (with advisor)

You can expect to hear from Rob on a regular basis, the frequency depends on your needs. Rob feels that an informed client is his best client so he will stay in touch.

In the event of an insurance claim Rob will work with you and your claims adjuster personally.
